Tereza Petržilková, the star of AK Škoda Plzeň, the club that has been long supported by Škoda Group as a general partner, won two awards in the prestigious Athlete of the Year 2023 award. Thanks to her results from the whole season, the Plzeň runner appeared in the spotlight twice during the award ceremony, which was broadcast live on Czech Television. Tereza won a great 3rd place as a part of the bronze relay team from this year's World Championships in Budapest and for her individual performance she also won a beautiful 1️0th place in a strong competition of all Czech athletes. The results were decided by 141 voters from officials, coaches and media representatives.
