The Škoda 52T tram began operating in Prague

First seven Škoda ForCity Plus 52T trams has taken to the streets of Prague in full operation with passengers.

The new five-section trams represent the most modern technology offered by Czech industry in the field of urban transport – they are quiet, smooth, and well thought out down to the last detail.

The trams were custom-made for Prague at the Škoda Group factory in Plzeň. By the end of the year, 20 trams from the basic order will be delivered to the Prague Public Transport Company.

Hundreds of people, thousands of hours of work, and many clever solutions are behind every detail of this tram.
