Partially low-floor units designed for suburban operation can be assembed as two, three, four or five-car units.
The units are manufactured in Škoda either for 25 kV 50 Hz and 3 kV DC voltage systems (640 series), or only for 3 kV DC (series 440). The vehicle frames are made of aluminum profiles, most traction equipment is placed on the roof. The interior of the vehicles is fully air-conditioned, passengers have access to a Wi-Fi signal and 230V sockets.
In 2017, Pars nova introduced the regular, periodic, first substantial repairs of these units, which will be implemented over a period of 5 years based on a signed contract. This includes the repair of two, three and five-car units in the assumed total number of 36 first substantial repairs and 9 major repairs.
