Jaroslav Látal was born in 1969; he studied engineering cybernetics at ČVUT FEL. He later received a postgraduate MBA degree at UNYP with the title of the Kurt Bösch University Institute (IUKB). He initially worked in IT, where he gained valuable experience. However, he was drawn to electronic/cyber applications that people can physically use on a daily basis and that provide greater security and a more comfortable life. His goal is to co-create technical solutions with high added value that sell well at home and especially abroad. He likes to combine the genius of Czech brains and hands and turn it into a profit. After nine years in IT, he shifted his focus to transportation telematics applications, which resulted in three patent applications and the acquisition of two utility models, one of which received transnational registration. He still makes transportation applications today. He has worked at POLL since 2015. During this period, the company technologically innovated the production of auxiliary drives and expanded its scope to include rail air conditioning systems and traction electrometers. The company makes all its products from A to Z, also providing technical support, and it meets strict international standards.
