Since 2019, Škoda Group's portfolio includes trolleybus ŠKODA 33Tr, which is a unique eighteen-meter, fully low-floor, three-axle trolleybus designed for public transport.
Škoda Group supplies all the electric equipment for the trolleybus and performs a general assembly of the three-axle vehicle. The electric equipment is stored on the vehicle's roof. The trolleybus can be operated at a voltage of 600 or 750 V DC. The trolleybus can also be equipped with traction batteries. The modern Škoda vehicle has low energy and maintenance costs.
Passenger comfort is increased by wider aisles between seats, as well as the low floors of the vehicle. Passenger comfort is also improved by a high-performance heating system a comprehensive information system. The vehicle also includes a tilting platform for wheelchair users.
