Škoda Group also manufactures complete trolleybus traction equipment, including a traction battery that allows operation in locations where there is no overhead line. The trolleybus can travel up to 12 kilometers on a single charge. The trolleybus is equipped with regenerative brakes, and it can be operated on 600 or 750 V DC lines.
The ŠKODA 32Tr trolleybus had its world premiere in Opava at the end of 2018. The transport company bought ten trolleybuses, replacing the original ŠKODA 14 Tr trolleybuses.
