They are able to communicate with the upper level control systems as well as other subsystems by any standardized communication protocol (Ethernet, MVB, CAN) and provide sophisticated diagnostic and troubleshooting facilities. The containers of the propulsion and auxiliary equipment are designed for under floor installation.
