Škoda 26Tr
The Škoda Group offers a standard 12-metre fully low-floor trolleybus ŠKODA 26Tr in its portfolio, which has been in production since 2009.
This three-door trolleybus can be operated on lines with a voltage of 600 or 750 V DC. Škoda Electric supplies all the electrical equipment for the cars, which is stored in one compact container on the roof of the vehicle. In addition, the trolleybus can be equipped with a diesel generator or traction batteries, which are located at the rear of the car and allow full-fledged driving off the overhead catenary. This type has gained great popularity with customers and has become highly sought after in both the domestic and foreign markets.
Passenger comfort is enhanced by the vehicle's full low-floor design and wider aisles between the seats. The comfort of the trolleybus ride is also improved by a powerful heating system, air-conditioning of the entire car, a clear information system or a tilting platform for wheelchair users. In addition, the vehicle is equipped with energy recovery braking and kneeling, which makes it easier to get on and off the vehicle.
