The double-decker unit consisting of a motor car, a middle car and a control car is designed for operation in urban areas on lines powered by DC voltage 3000V.
The car frames are made of aluminium profiles, and the boarding doors are on the platform level. The passenger area is fully air-conditioned, and the unit also has a compartment for passengers travelling in first class. The cars are manufactured by Škoda Vagonka in Ostrava, and they have been subject to regular, periodic, first substantial repairs at Škoda Pars since 2008.
