Top-notch vehicle quality is ensured by being present at every step of the process; even accounting for the extreme Nordic conditions that our vehicles are operating in. We are able to manufacture the product from start to finish: from the first design, all the way to commissioning and life-cycle maintenance.

We are pioneers in the use of automatized manufacturing processes and weather-resistant technologies – this attention to detail is seen throughout our production capabilities and technologies.

For example, car bodies of our vehicles are fully weatherproof, as they are manufactured from weather-resistant CORTEN steel and aluminium. To further increase durability, we also use our Zinc priming treatment facility for the most exposed parts.

Our state of the art welding and our extensive experience does enable us to weld weathering steel to the highest quality standards. We naturally fulfill welding quality standard EN ISO 15085.This also enables us to manufacture structures that are flush with each other, without overlapping plates.

For the welding of bogies and underframes, we do have fully automated welding robots, which are highly efficient and provide welds of the highest grade for these safety-relevant components, with repeatable accuracy and quality. Further, the most demanding sub-assembly is also made with robots, and we are actively developing robotic use for assembly and welding.

We have innovated our production processes so that we do not require steel profiles, but still are able to have ventilated cavities and this without needing to resort to structural bonding. This enables the non-destructive maintenance of car bodies and other components.

Our vehicles are state-of-the-art vehicles, which fulfil the highest reliability and comfort criteria. We have specifically designed our tramway vehicles for the integration of the urban environment as much as possible while keeping the lifecycle costs to a minimum.

All our articulated vehicles feature, as a standard, fully pivoting bogies with traditional wheelsets, where all axles are driven.

The state-of-the-art redundancy concept including the passenger equipment ensures maximum comfort and reliability during operations. The heated composite floors of our vehicles for example are our innovative solution to ensure the best possible comfort during all weather conditions.

The collapsible front structure does provide best-in-class crash safety, all the while being very maintenance-friendly with quickly exchangeable panels and glassing.
