Certification and Homologation

We help our customers with vehicle revitalisation as well as vehicle certification.
We also offer assistance in obtaining the necessary certificates from individual national railway certification authorities. Thanks to our extensive experience, we are familiar with the process of approving a vehicle for operation for successful certification according to EN standards, as well as according to GOST standards. Since we design our solutions according to the most stringent requirements of the relevant standards, we have no trouble successfully passing the vehicle approval process according to both standards, see the extensive list of our references.
Commissioning
We offer our customers full assistance in revitalising individual vehicle subsystems communicating or otherwise cooperating with the control system and its components, as well as assistance in putting the vehicle into operation and completing test drives, all based on a pre-agreed revitalisation plan.
The revitalisation process, especially in its early phase, naturally includes the final tuning of the software on the vehicle according to refined customer requirements, or operational needs that were not known or not available in the previous stages of the development of the vehicle control system. Thanks to the active approach and qualified staff of ŠKODA DIGITAL s.r.o., the time required for revitalisation is reduced to the minimum.
Functional and operational testing evidenced by a validation protocol is an integral part of vehicle technology revitalisation. Assistance on a technical level in the approval and certification of the rail vehicle in the testing laboratory is also a matter of course.
Warranty and post-warranty service
We consider quality and fast warranty and post-warranty service for all delivered solutions and products to be a very important part of our operations, even though our customers rarely use these services due to the high quality and reliability of our systems.

We approach all servicing positively and with high respect. A solution requires a proactive approach for a root cause analysis and the timely implementation of corrective measures. The customer is always fully informed about the acceptance of the servicing request, the method of implementation, the completion date and any costs.
