Tomáš Ignačák was born in 1969 and graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of Brno University of Technology. He completed postgraduate studies in international marketing and management at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun. He also graduated from The Nottingham Trent University at BBS BUT Brno, where he received his Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. He joined Škoda in 1993 in Šumperk and since then he held various positions in Škoda Group. He currently holds the position of President Region Cz/Sk and Central East and Executive Vice-Chairman of Škoda Group.

Zdeněk Sváta was born in 1978. He graduated from the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering. He joined Škoda shortly after graduating from the university and has been working at the company for over 15 years. He started as a Project manager, where he was in charge of individual production projects. Milan has dedicated his entire professional career to Škoda. He began as a designer and project engineer for traction converters and later worked as a project engineer for the electrical systems of vehicles. Since 2004, he has led the Electrical Projects Department. He is considered one of Europe’s leading specialists in the field of electrical engineering for rail vehicles. In 2025, he was appointed Vice President Rolling Stock and Service Platforms. In this role, he is responsible for ensuring the continuity of existing projects, further development of the product portfolio, and the strategic strengthening of the company’s technical competencies.

Among his interests is the history and present of rail vehicles — a topic on which he has written numerous articles and contributed to several books.

Henrik is with Škoda Group since 2025. He previously worked at Scania Group, where he held various positions including Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Executive Regional Director and Vice President of Financial Services. A key contribution is his experience in the bus and truck segments, which brings valuable insights into the public transport sector – our core business area and focus of future commercial ambitions. Throughout his career, he has been involved in business development with operational profit and loss responsibility not only in Europe but also in Africa and the Middle East.

He graduated with an M.Sc. in Industrial Management and Economics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and received his postgraduate education at the Stockholm School of Economics and INSEAD.

In his current role, he supports business growth, identifies and develops new opportunities, and coordinates them with other members of the management team.

Before joining Škoda Group, she worked at Siemens, ABB, and the technology start-up Woltair. She led communications teams and served as a spokesperson. In the field of PR, she has advised a number of key players in industry and energy and has international experience in corporate communications across EU countries. Prior to her career in industrial technologies, she held managerial positions in retail. She regularly serves as a jury member for the Czech PR Awards. At Škoda Group, she and her team focus on brand awareness in the Czech market as well as in markets that are strategically important for Škoda Group.

He was born in 1975; he graduated from the Faculty of Economics, Technical University of Ostrava.
He has held managerial positions in a number of major engineering companies, including the European group GCE and the Czech Armaments Factory in Uherský Brod. He managed the Tatra car company for two years. Prior to joining Škoda Group, where he had also previously worked, Bednarz was the CEO of Vítkovice Heavy Machinery from the Vítkovice Machinery Group. He has been the director of Škoda Ostrava since 2018.

Jaromír Urbánek was born in 1978. After graduating from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague in 2003, he started working as a Technologist in the international company PRAKAB, where he gradually worked his way up to the management of the company. Since 2008 he has been working there as Technical and Production Director.
He joined ŠKODA in 2015 as Director of Technology. At the end of 2021 he took over the management of the Pilsen plant as Site Director and from the end of 2023 he also coordinates the production sites within Group Operations.

Radek Svoboda was born in 1969. He graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering in Pilsen (now the University of West Bohemia). After graduating from college in 1992, he started work in the sales department of ŠKODA Turbíny s.r.o., one of the many companies belonging to the Pilsen-based Škoda a.s. group. He was primarily involved in foreign trade and later, management of long-term projects, especially in India, Serbia and Romania. In 1999, he accepted an offer from the German food group ECKES a.g. and spent the next 15 years working for companies outside the engineering industry in the FMCG sector, where, as a sales manager and later as CEO, he gained comprehensive experience in leading large work teams and managing major sales and investment projects. Over the course of his career, Radek has participated in a number of management training course and attended several professional seminars abroad. In 2014, he returned to Škoda and started to devote his efforts to development of the new electromobility programme. Since 2018, he has held the position of Operations Director at ŠKODA Electric a.s.

Aleš Měrka was born in 1981. He graduated from the VSB Technical University of Ostrava, majoring in quality management. Prior to joining the Škoda Group, he was professionally involved in the fields of aluminium and plastics processing and especially in the area of meeting the demanding requirements of automotive suppliers.
He joined Škoda Pars in 2009 as Director of Quality, since then he has held various positions up to the position of CEO of Škoda Pars. Since 2023 he has been Vice President of Service CZ/SK and CEE and Managing Director of Škoda Pars.
